Upgrading Windows XP to Windows 7 Using Windows Easy Transfer.
Need To Know.
1. First you will need to know what the program to use to do this which is Windows Easy Transfer. Windows Easy Transfer is a way to copy important files to one system to another and in this example also install it onto Windows XP that does not have Windows Easy Transfer.
2. You will need a copy of iso for Windows 7 which is provide by your seller when bought, which should be on a disc.
3. You will also need to make sure that the system you are upgrading is capable of running Windows 7 operating system. You will want to have more then the minimum system requirement to run Windows 7.

Installing Windows Easy Transfer
1. First you will want to open the search box in windows and search for Windows Easy Transfer and will want to double click and run the program.
2. Second you will want to follow the steps on the screen, with upon clicking next you will have three option "An Easy Transfer cable"," A network ", and " An external hard drive or USB flash drive". You will want to select "An external hard disk or USB flash drive. After selecting "An external hard disk or USB flash drive" you will have an option to select as old or new computer, you will select to new computer.
3. After selecting "This is my new computer" you should get the option to install easy transfer onto your old computer. You will search for you External or Flash drive and copy the install to that and the run windows xp to save all your files.
4. Upon running Windows XP you will want to connect you flash drive or external and you hard drive should pop-up and it should already have the option to install windows easy transfer onto Windows XP and will select and install it. Should get a screen that has starting windows easy transfer and should come to a screen to select the option as "this is my old computer".
5. Once you get passed these windows you will get to the option to save all the files you want to your external drive. After save you files you will get the window that shows you that you saved your file info.
6. Once saving the files, you will install windows 7 onto your computer and follow the option on the screen.
7. After installing Windows 7 you will plug you external drive in and copy all your files over and will be able to see want you have transferred over to your new computer.

8. You have now completely copy files from Windows XP to Windows 7 and upgrading.
